A Long Wait...Summary

After a while(well actually more than a year) without any new post, finally I get my butt off to write another article... well I hope it's not the type that will break my finger while typing...
My life changed a bit last year... Varivision SUCK!!! After what I had done for them(repairing the school computers) not even a penny officially paid to me except for the RM500(which is our traveling allowances) given us.

Okay, last November I got a new job at Resident Office after working almost 2 weeks at Pertubuhan Peladang.(Long story made short)
Luck maybe... I believe it's a new chance for me to explore more possibilities and opportunities regarding my journey... Everything fines there, I had great great time with my colleagues and the working environment is conducive. Sometime I had to cooperate with other agencies to get things work especially event which is attended by minister. It's kind of scary when I got the chance to handle it by myself (firsthand experience, well not really hahaha...) and after a while I get used with it and become quite familiar with problems that occur before the event. Sometime I'll get bored to death (not really) when there is nothing to do in the office especially during the end of year. I tried to look for something else just to get occupied with the office environment. (It's very quite when almost every staff took their leave)

Well it's a new world for me, except that I got used with private sector environment. Being alone without anything to do on your desk is like a CRIME that time, everything had to be done effectively and fast. I still remember back then, every night before I go to sleep I had to plan what task should be given to the workers, is there any more efficient way or productive method to improve our production?, is there enough material and part tomorrow.... and the list go on...

Thankfully that experiences help me a lot during my time till now.

3rd May 2008, the day when all the MOT(Mgmt of Tech) student met after 3 years of graduate. I had planned it all in 3 years since 2005, from air ticket to a place for me to stay. It's a very long wait for me... I took a flight from Sibu on 1st May 2008 when suddenly an airport officer hold me after they found something in my hand luggage. I forgot that my tool(tork screwdrivers) was not allowed inside the passenger cabin. They told me whether I want to check it as luggage or they take my precious from me. When you put that together, it's enough for me to be an airplane hijacker!! I have no choice, my document, digicam and my other stuffs is inside. I choose to take the documents with me and rush downstair to put my luggage together with others as Air Asia known to close their counter early. After a long hour journey, finally I had arrived at LCCT after 3 years. I was like... god damn it!! I don't know what to do next... after a while I decided to a take a bus to KL Sentral and wait for my friends there. I inform all of them and to my surprise, they never expect me to come so early.( I have no idea why they didn't, I had already told them in advance before)

After waiting for almost 2 hours finally my friend (Tony) arrive and informed me that Nicholas was at KL. Nicholas stayed at Brisdale Hotel, Chow Kit... I wonder how to get there... After taking a couple of wrong routes(via monorail, KTMB...) we finally took a taxi to get there at 7.00 p.m. if I'm not mistaken. Nicholas and his family got a free stay at the hotel for 3 days and 2 nights for free. I don't know how they got it but I know they have relative/friend working at Tourism Board. During night, a friend of Nicholas took us to Pasar Malam Downtown KL where we watched traditional "resdung" practitioners performing treatment to their customer. They said that the treatment was temporary and to reduce the effect of it and not to cure. Nicholas bought one replica watch from a Sarawakian Chinese(Mirians). Somehow it's kind of funny when Nicholas asked my opinion about the watch(whether it's worth the price), it was like he begged for a permission to bought it from me. Till now he still proudly told his collegue that he bought an expensive watch after winning 4D(which is not) at KL. I can get a more cheaper watch like that (same quality) if he really want it badly.

The next day I accompanying them to the National Zoo. Getting a tag at the counter and walk around the zoo and taking picture with my friend. There was a funny moment when my friend's little sister was about to take a picture in front of an elephant when suddenly the elephant showed its back and FARTING towards her... It was a god damn hilarious!!!

In the afternoon we decided to wait at the bus stop to return back to the hotel. When we arrived at Chow Kit I accompanied them shopping at Chow Kit for handbag.

That night I received a sms from a friend informing me that our REUNION was cancelled due to less participant from our ex-coursemate(work commitment). Well that left me with one reason why I come here, it's a break from work and HOLIDAY!!!

Next day (day 3), Nicholas and his family checked out from the hotel to catch the flight that evening. Once again I'm on my own for another adventure. I walked out of the hotel to the monorail station and proceed to KL Sentral. I hardly remember the instruction given by Tony on "how to get to his house at Shah Alam". Thankfully when I take KTMB komuter and after almost an hour journey I arrived at Shah Alam and take a cab to Section 8.(right for the first time) Finally I arrived after a tiring journey, I met Tony and his housemate playing Winning Eleven on PS2. During night , Tony brought me to Plaza Alam Shah(PAS) to buy some souvenirs for my friends.

On day 4 we when to place where people sell secondhand or bundle product at Shah Alam. Located near the Shah Alam Stadium if I'm not mistaken(hardly remember). Nothing much to do, we spent most of our time at his house and watched EPL at nearby mamak stall.

Next day I went out with Tony's friend and we hangout at Sunway Pyramid, it was that time I'm becoming more interested in photography when I saw suttersyndicate brought together his SLR camera. The needs to have a more reliable camera than the current one make me realized that I must immortalize all the events / moments in my life digitally. (After 3 months of rigid spending, I bought Kodak ZD710 that gives me more freedom in picture taking.)
My beloved ZD710

Yummy!!! Donut we ate at Sunway Pyramid

On May 6th, I went to meet my uncle at Taman Megah (they pronounce it "Taman Mega") in Cheras. At first i have no idea how to get there so I decided to take a taxi. Because it had been more than a year since the last time I stay for a night at his apartment. Thankfully I remember a bit how to get there and able to tell the driver where to go. I was surprise that he have an Indonesian wife (which is not) with one son(not my uncle's son). She was quite friendly except for my new "cousin" who can't left my mobile phone and my digicam alone. Since he is 5 years old, I can hide my things high above the closet because kid at his age is very persistence once they saw something that attract their interest. He is lucky that I'm not the Terminator otherwise I would say "hasta la vista baby" and goodbye.

The next day I returned back to Shah Alam and upon my arrival, my friend challenge me for a match(Winning Eleven) in PS2. The supposed to be one match leads to several matches and both of us can get enough of it. (Now he is way better than me, he is lucky that I played using gamepad rather than keyboard. Actually I'm used with the PC version). The next two days routine is quite the same.

Still have time for Pattaya Fried Rice (I miss the Kedah version)

On May 10th, together with my little aunt(she is way younger than me) wait for a our taxi to fetch us. I was very worried whether we can make as the taxi driver arrived later than promised due to tyre puncture in early morning. He drives 90kmph and I keep on asking why didn't he accelerate faster than that... After almost 1 hour and a half we arrived at LCCT and fortunately we arrived at the counter before it closed. Imagine that, the LED board didn't help at all, the destination displayed on the LED is blinking in some period of time and it's hard to guess which one. right for the first time? Nah, I was luck. After we enter boarding area look for some assortment for my colleagues back there. Then I saw a jar of chocolate with a price tag of RM6.80 which I send to the counter. When the cashier scanned the bar code on the chocolate, the telly show RM68.00 and disbelieving about the price, I take a closer look. Indeed!!! It's RM68.00 Bloody Hell!!! How come I miss the DOT!!! Well to cover up my shame, I paid it with a smile before the cashier notices something.

There are a lot of thing I miss about peninsular. Whether during the good or the bad i had always appreciate every opportunities given by those who believe in me. I'll keep on fighting to search for every opportunities in every journey I had been through. So that I'll never forget how the shape looks like when I started to fight!!
